Research Interests

I'm an ecological modeler, with background of field experiments and investigations, focusing on research and outreach activities in biogeoscience, as specified, but not limited to, in the following:

(1) Experimental and modeling study of water, carbon and nitrogen cycling in agricultural, forest, grassland and other terrestrial ecosystems.

(2) Exploring integrated techniques, e.g., ecological and fluxnet network monitoring,  terrestrial ecosystem modeling, and spatial analysis and modeling to understand complexity of energy, carbon, water, nutrient and/or other chemicals in ecosystems and to aid in decision-making relevant to utilization and management at regional or global scales.
