Research Interests
Understanding carbon dynamics in forest ecosystems continues to be an important objective in the face of a changing climate. I currently work in the Spatial Ecology Lab at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and focus on ascertaining controls on soil carbon accumulation in boreal ecosystems. This project – The Deep Soil Carbon Project - is funded by the USGS and headed by Dave McGuire and Jennifer Harden.
